These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, products, and services. By engaging Melt Productions, purchasing products, subscribing to services, or accessing our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, you should not use our services or website.

 
1. About Melt Productions

Melt Productions is an Australian creative design, marketing, events, and digital services business providing services including, but not limited to:

  • Content Creation

  • Creative Partner Packages

  • Custom Documents

  • Event Services

  • Flower Wall Hire

  • Funeral Design Services

  • Graphic Design

  • Invitations and Stationery

  • LED Graphics and Animations

  • Marketing Brand Support

  • Marketing Campaign and PR Support

  • Marketing Material

  • Social Media Artwork

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, engaging our services, purchasing products, or entering into an agreement with Melt Productions, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

You must be at least 18 years of age or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian to use our services.

 
3. Quotes and Proposals

All quotations provided by Melt Productions are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

​

Quotes are based on the information provided by the client at the time of quoting. â€‹Additional work, revisions, changes in scope, or new requirements may result in additional fees.

​

Acceptance of a quote constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

 
4. Payments

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • Payment is required before work commences.

  • Larger projects may require a deposit and progress payments.

  • Subscription and retainer services are billed according to the agreed schedule.

  • Invoices are payable within the stated payment terms.

  • Late payments may result in suspension of services.

 

Melt Productions reserves the right to withhold final files, deliverables, website launches, event materials, or completed work until all outstanding amounts have been paid.

 
5. Cancellations and Refunds

Service-Based Projects

Once work has commenced, payments may not be refundable for work already completed.

​

If a project is cancelled by the client:

  • Work completed to date will be charged.

  • Deposits may be non-refundable.

  • Any third-party costs already incurred will remain payable.

 

Digital Products

Due to the nature of digital products and downloadable content, refunds are generally not available once access or download has been provided, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.

 

Event Services

Event deposits are generally non-refundable unless otherwise specified in a separate service agreement.

 
6. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate information.

  • Supply required content, images, logos, and materials in a timely manner.

  • Review drafts and proofs carefully.

  • Obtain any necessary permissions, licences, or approvals relating to supplied materials.

  • Respond to requests for feedback within reasonable timeframes.

 

Delays in client responses may impact project timelines.

 
7. Revisions and Scope Changes

Unless otherwise specified in a written proposal or service agreement, all design, content creation, marketing, website, invitation, and creative projects include a maximum of three (3) rounds of revisions at no additional charge.

A revision refers to reasonable amendments to an existing concept, design, or deliverable based on the original project brief.

​

Additional revisions beyond the included three rounds, substantial changes, redesign requests, changes of direction, or alterations to the original project brief may incur additional fees at Melt Productions' current rates.

​

Where additional charges apply, clients will be advised and approval obtained before further work is undertaken.

​

Melt Productions reserves the right to issue a revised quote where project requirements, deliverables, timelines, or scope materially change from the original agreement.

 
8. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in original concepts, drafts, templates, graphics, artwork, animations, written content, marketing materials, and designs remain the property of Melt Productions until full payment has been received.

Upon full payment:

  • Clients receive a licence or ownership rights as specified within their project agreement.

  • Melt Productions retains the right to display completed work in portfolios unless otherwise agreed.

 

Clients may not resell, reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit Melt Productions' work beyond the agreed licence terms without written permission.

 
9. Client-Supplied Content

Clients warrant that all materials supplied to Melt Productions:

  • Are owned by the client or properly licensed.

  • Do not infringe any copyright, trademark, privacy, or intellectual property rights.

  • Comply with applicable laws.

 

Clients indemnify Melt Productions against any claims arising from supplied materials.

 
10. AI-Assisted Services

Melt Productions may use artificial intelligence tools including, but not limited to:

  • Canva AI

  • ChatGPT

  • Adobe Firefly

  • Microsoft Copilot

  • Other industry-standard AI tools

 

These tools may assist with creative concepts, content generation, graphic design, marketing materials, and workflow efficiencies.

​

All AI-assisted work is reviewed by Melt Productions prior to delivery.

​

Clients acknowledge that AI-generated outputs may contain inaccuracies, similarities to existing works, or limitations inherent to the technology.

​

Melt Productions makes no guarantee regarding originality beyond reasonable review processes.

 
11. Event Services

Where Melt Productions provides event services:

  • Event dates are only confirmed upon receipt of any required deposit.

  • Clients are responsible for obtaining venue approvals, permits, and permissions unless otherwise agreed.

  • Event timelines may be impacted by circumstances beyond our control.

  • Melt Productions is not liable for disruptions caused by weather, venue issues, suppliers, emergencies, government restrictions, or force majeure events.

 
12. Photography and Event Media

Melt Productions may photograph or record projects, events, installations, displays, invitations, signage, and completed creative work.

​

Such content may be used for:

  • Portfolios

  • Social media

  • Marketing purposes

  • Website content

  • Promotional materials

 

Clients may request confidentiality in writing before project commencement.

15. Digital Products

Digital templates, downloads, graphics, and resources sold by Melt Productions:

  • Are protected by copyright.

  • May not be resold, redistributed, sublicensed, or shared unless expressly permitted.

  • Are licensed to the purchaser for personal or agreed commercial use only.

 

Unauthorised reproduction or distribution may result in legal action.

 
16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Melt Productions excludes all warranties not expressly stated.

  • Melt Productions is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or economic losses.

  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by the client for the relevant service or product.

 

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

 
17. Force Majeure

Melt Productions will not be liable for delays or failure to perform obligations caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters

  • Severe weather

  • Government restrictions

  • Power outages

  • Internet disruptions

  • Illness

  • Supplier failures

 
18. Privacy

Personal information is collected, used, and stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By engaging our services, you consent to the collection and handling of personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

 
19. Changes to These Terms

Melt Productions reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.

​

The latest version will be published on our website and will take effect immediately upon publication.

 
20. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

​

Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
